Our Story

In 1979 H. Ray Harrell, D.D.S. and Nancy R. Johnson, D.D.S. graduated from dental school in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2014  Katherine A. Harrell D.M.D., the daughter of Dr. Ray Harrell and Dr. Nancy Johnson,  graduated from Midwestern Dental School in Glendale, Arizona, and began to practice with her parents.  In June of 2016, Dr. Nancy Johnson retired from the practice of dentistry.  

Meet the Doctor

H. Ray Harrell, D.D.S.

Dr. H. Ray Harrell graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1979. He practiced with his wife, Dr. Nancy R. Johnson until her retirement in June of 2016. Dr. H. Ray Harrell is a past president of the Southern Arizona Dental Association. He is a certified member of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics. Dr. Harrell is a Diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry and is also a Fellow of the International Society for Dentofacial Aesthetics.  He has been an adjunct faculty member of the Pima Community College Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs. Dr. Harrell is a lifelong student and has had training in dental implant placement, dental sleep medicine, and is well trained in dental composite material utilization for aesthetic restoration.
